An Asian-Canadian group is to announce a libel suit against the authors and publisher of a new book titled Nest of Spies.

Canada Association for Learning & Preserving the History of WWII in Asia is suing authors Fabrice de Pierrebourg and Michel Juneau-Katsuya, and publisher, HarperCollins. The suit is over claims the group got money from China’s intelligence service to lobby MPs to back a motion calling on Japan to apologize to foreign women forced into military brothels during WWII.

"We did not receive any money from any government," said Canada ALPHA chair Dr. Joseph Wong.
